The first Ollie's restaurant opened in 1989 with the goal of bringing cuisine from Chinatown up to the Upper West Side. It wasn't long before the concept was proven; soon hundreds of hungry Columbia students would fill the restaurant everyday in between classes. Ever since then, Ollie's has left its mark throughout Manhattan, having served landmark areas such as Times Square, Lincoln Center, and Hell's Kitchen. The group has also expanded to other concepts with restaurants like Red Bowl, a Cantonese-style noodle shop located in Flushing, Queens. 29 years later, the mission is still the same: to serve authentic, quality Chinese food in a contemporary setting and at an affordable price! With offerings ranging from classic American favorites such as Chicken & Broccoli, to mouth-numbing Sichuan staples like Mapo Tofu, to home-made Soup Dumplings, there truly is something for everyone.
